This interactive workshop is suitable for those wanting to improve their communication skills!
We communicate constantly, verbally and non-verbally.
Verbal communication includes language, words, sentences and voice as the medium of communication. Non-verbal communication is the conveyance of messages or signals through nonverbal behavior such as eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, posture, distance between two people and general so-called body language.
During this experiential workshops you will:
- Discover how you currently communicate
- Understand how your communication effects your behavior
- Understand how your communication effects others
- Become aware of your tone-of-voice
- Experience the power of communication
- Become aware of ‘missed’ communication and how you can avoid it
You will gain greater insight into the way you communicate, and how you can improve the process for better results
Who should attend?
This interactive, experiential workshop is suitable for those wanting to improve their communication skills.
If you are a parent or support worker wanting to improve your communication skills, or, if you are a person with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or a learning disability, then this workshop is for you!
